Don't forget, while these Deathchargers may not be old-school, neither are the DKs riding them. I personally like the design of the Deathcharger and (again IMO) it matches up very well to this new breed of DKs. While the Forsaken horses are very cool, the graphics are outdated enough that they just don't compare IMO. The Archerus Deathcharger also has a level of detail on it that NONE of the mounts you just mentioned can match. And quite frankly, the Fiery Warhorse looks a bit too much like a gypsy's mount to be all that menacing (not putting it down, it's a sweet mount just saying). The Fiery Warhorse is a closer match (the armor), but the 'feel' is very different. I can't really see that this Deathcharger resembles the Dreadsteed in any way aside from both of them having spikes. You can buy 3 reg flyers, 2 epic flyers AND reg flying training for what that mount costs even at exalted. On a side note, with the reduction in Flight training price they should have the Griffin from EB also gives basic flying when purchased. They need to add another mount model based on the old deathchargers that you can buy from that DK mount vendor. From day one, i've been hoping for DK's be in WoW someday, and that image included the old school design. I farmed a Battlecharger ram in AV just so I didnt have to waste money on a mount to ride something that didn't look so stupid on my Lock. This mount is like a cheap knock off of Dreadsteed or that mount from Kara. Mounts like the epic Undead and Rivendare's are MUCH cooler looking, and are based on the old school design anyways. Thats not counting the 300 or so runs I had to Death gate out of cause the slaughterhouse event got bugged. 748 runs AFTER they buffed the drop rate, and I haven't seen it. And it's DK only anyway? Why not?Įveryone always says get Rivendare's.the problem is.Stratholme hates me. * Flying over Dalaran and Wintergrasp is now possible so long as players keep a healthy distance above the ground.Ĭomment by ZanathKariashiI hate the new deathcharger design. * In order to further equalize the number of purchasable mounts available to each race, a new 60% speed ground mount has been added for night elves, and a new 100% speed ground mount has been added for the undead. * Artisan Riding (Skill 300): Faction discounts now apply (Honor Hold or Valiance Expedition for Alliance Thrallmar or Warsong Offensive for Horde).
